Intense Pulsed Light

Known most for its use in “Photo Facials”, Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL) is one of the original “laser” (actually a broad spectrum light source) therapies that uses energy at various intensities and wavelengths to remove hair, rejuvenate and tighten the skin, diminish or remove “spider veins” and pigmentation including rosacea, diminish the appearance of acne scarring, and reverse sun damage. Laser and IPL (along with a Zimmer “MedicinSysteme” to increase intensity and effectiveness while eliminating pain) are safe, non-invasive procedures that allow for maximum benefit with minimum risk, cost, and recovery or “downtime”.

Results can be achieved with one treatment for skin pigmentation (“Age Spots”) and typically 4-6 initial treatments for hair removal. Initial treatment benefits, depending on the condition treated and the desired effect, can last a lifetime or be maintained with single annual re-treatments.
